I’ve been a bit distant with my blog lately because it’s August which is usually a crazy time for us anyway, add on my new oils journey and the house renovation and we’re extra crazy. But logging on this afternoon and seeing Essential Living with Dakota has received it’s first 100 followers is super exciting!
When I started blogging in February, I had no idea if anyone would even read what I blogged about. But if gave me an outlet to talk about motherhood, it’s ups and downs, and how I’m surviving being a mama to 3 little boys.
So, to say thank you, I’m going to feature 5 blogs! Each blog will be featured for one day the week of September 4th. It can be a guest post, a compilation of my thoughts on our blog, a re-blog of your favorite post, etc. It will be your choice! So, to figure out who will be featured, let’s place a game! I’m going to dub it the “Random Something Game”.
Each day this week, I will post a random something. If you participate, you will earn points toward being featured. First five bloggers to reach 500 points will win! Posts could be:
- Favorite meme.
- Favorite inspirational quote.
- Favorite Disney Movie.
- Best holiday DIY’s. (Cuz holidays are quickly approaching and I struggle with DIY’ing with my kids.)
- Best back to school survival tips.
Today’s “Random Something Game”: Ask me questions! Each question asked earns you 10 points towards being featured. (Just to save my butt from any potential craziness: Any question that is just totally out of line will be deleted.) Tomorrow’s post will answer your questions and hold Tuesday’s “Random Something.”
**Bonus: the question that I think is the most unique/fun/makes me think the most will earn a BONUS 50 points!
Guys, I’m so stinking excited for this! I cannot wait to see what creative juices this brings me, hopefully find some awesome new blogs to follow along the way, and to feature five of you awesome-sauce bloggers SOON!
I hope you’re having an awesome Monday and are enjoying the eclipse! I made pinpoint projectors with my oldest son and my youngest sister, and we are super excited to keep running out and testing them. We aren’t in the line of totality, but it’s still neat to experience.
